Mark had to go into work on Sunday and I badly needed to run some errands so Laura came over to watch Elliott for a while.  Jamie ended up coming over and bringing her darling little girl, Hannah!  What a fun play date!

We took Elliott to the petting zoo again last weekend and he was certainly more aware of his surroundings this time, last time he pretty much slept the entire time.

Wearing Daddy's hat because we forgot sunscreen.  First time parents still trying to figure everything out... :)

4 Months

I feel like someone has pushed the fastforward button on our life because it feels like just yesterday I posted Elliott's 3 month update.  Mark and I tell each other often to slow down and cherish the moments we have with him right now, but it's easy to get caught up in the daily demand of life.  He has grown so much and his personality is really starting to show. He weighed in at 17lbs 11 ozs and was 26.5 inches...92 percentile for both

Schedule

6-6:30am wakeup and first bottle

7:30 Drop Elliott off at Monique's

8:30 down for first nap (usually only 45-60 minutes)

9:30 second bottle

12:30 third bottle and down for 2nd nap (usually 2 hours)

3:30 fourth bottle

4:30ish down for third nap (usually only 30 minutes)

5:00 mom pick up Elliott from Monique's

6:00 start bedtime routine....short walk around the block, bath, pj's on and drink last bottle, mom/dad usually has to rock him with a pacifier for 15 minutes and then in the crib by 6:45-7ish

Yes, he's STANDING. I couldn't believe it either.  He'll stand there for several minutes if you let him.

Nap time with dad

Elliott's first day at the daycare. Mom was a complete wreck!  Worst feeling in life is leaving your child with someone you don't know for 9 hours a day. I had my reservations after dropping him off the first day and they were proven when I picked him up early one day and the sitter was sleeping and Elliott was wide awake playing in his crib.  Moms....listen to your gut!

  

We switched daycare providers today and she sent this picture this morning.

Baptism

Elliott was baptized on July 29th, 2012.  He did great during the ceremony.  No smiles but no fussing so Mom and Dad will take it!  We celebrated at our house in the afternoon with the whole family.  It was so nice to have everyone together to celebrate Elliott's big day.  The only people that couldn't be there were Danny and Javen.

3 Months

I have changed so much.  I weigh just over 15lbs and reach 25 inches long.  I decided to just skip a lot of my 3-6 month clothes and am already wearing the 6-9 month outfits. I wear the Carter's size 12 month onesies already because smaller sizes are too short for me. 

Schedule:

Wake up between 6 and 6:15 every morning

6oz bottles at 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, and 5:30pm with a nap between each bottle

I usually get tired between 6:45 and 7pm so mom swaddles me and gives me another 2-4oz bottle

I pretty much sleep through the night from 6:45-7ish to 6am with an occasional waking around 2:30

My Favorite Things:

I love just sitting on Mom and Dad's laps and listening to them talk.  I try so hard to talk back!

Ok... I wouldn't say I love tummy time, but I don't mind it now.

 I like to just sit in my bumbo and watch t.v.

4th of July

We traveled to Storm Lake to celebrate the 4th with the Lageschulte Family.  We had a great time!  Addison loved "Elwitt" and couldn't get enough of him.
