3 Months
I have changed so much.  I weigh just over 15lbs and reach 25 inches long.  I decided to just skip a lot of my 3-6 month clothes and am already wearing the 6-9 month outfits. I wear the Carter's size 12 month onesies already because smaller sizes are too short for me.

Schedule:
Wake up between 6 and 6:15 every morning
6oz bottles at 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, and 5:30pm with a nap between each bottle
I usually get tired between 6:45 and 7pm so mom swaddles me and gives me another 2-4oz bottle
I pretty much sleep through the night from 6:45-7ish to 6am with an occasional waking around 2:30

My Favorite Things:

I love just sitting on Mom and Dad's laps and listening to them talk.  I try so hard to talk back!

Ok... I wouldn't say I love tummy time, but I don't mind it now.

I like to just sit in my bumbo and watch t.v.

4th of July

We traveled to Storm Lake to celebrate the 4th with the Lageschulte Family.  We had a great time!  Addison loved "Elwitt" and couldn't get enough of him.

Just An Update

Elliott seems to be feeling much better.  We now have him on Earth's Best Organic formula and a probiotic once a day. Not sure which one did the trick? Or if he's just growing out of his colicy stage, but I don't care because he is now such a joy to be around!  He smiles all the time and loves to have conversations with Mark and me.

Zachary (8 weeks), Frederick (2 1/2 weeks), and Elliott (8 weeks)
Play date with two of my friends who also had babies this summer.

My sister came down June 18th -21st and helped out with Elliott.  She was great help and Elliott loved playing with her.

He loves his jungle gym and can lay under it for 20 minutes without attention.  Yes, 20 minutes doesn't seem like much but when you have a colicy baby it seems like a lifetime! :)

The Elliott stare!

Crock Pot Cooking

Alright, so I only have 2 more weeks of maternity leave left and I'm already starting to worry about how I will get everything done at night when I get home. Daycare pickup, laundry, bottle and bath time for Mr. Elliott, and oh yeah....dinner for Mark and me.  I suddenly have a new found appreciation for all the mothers out there.

My friend Sara Schwertfeger had a post on her blog on crock pot recipes that you can prepare ahead of time and freeze.   My friend Morgan was visiting from Des Moines this weekend and she offered to help so I very quickly took her up on it.  Yay for friends who love to cook! It took the two of us almost 3 hours to chop and assemble everything.

Below are the 2 websites I used. The 5 meals I chose to make are vegetable beef soup, teriyaki chicken, BBQ chicken, goulash, and chicken curry.  I'll let you know how they taste!

Father's Day

We took Elliott to the Deanna Rose Petting Zoo today.  He slept for the first 30 minutes and when he finally woke up it got pretty warm so we didn't spend too much time there.  Below are a few of our favorite snapshots.  Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

2 MONTHS OLD

I just got back from my 2 month appointment and I was 13lbs 7ozs and 24 inches long.  My Dr. is even stumped by my grumpiness and first thought it was acid reflux and now thinks it's just plain ole' colic.  Mom has switched my formula 4 times and I'm now on Earth's Best Organic formula.  I seem to be doing a little better on this although I still get fussy at night, thankfully it's when Dad comes home!

Schedule:  I know eat around 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and 8pm and take a nap between every bottle.  I then go to bed around 8:30 and for some reason wake up around 2:00. Mom will come in to change my diaper, reswaddle me and give me a pacifier and I go back to sleep till around 6:00.

Favorite Things:
- Laying under my jungle gym
- Going on walks/runs
- Sitting on a lap and watching tv
- Being held upright and looking over Mom's shoulder

Mark fixed up the basement so I could workout at home.  I can't believe it took us this long to set up a workout area, we use it almost every day now.  Elliott loves to sit on the sidelines and watch us workout.  He'll even follow us around with his eyes... probably in amazement at how much his mom can lift.  :)

Elliott getting in on the fun and starting that muscle building early.

Mark thought it would be fun to play basketball with Elliott on the ISU rug, Elliott thought otherwise.
