We traveled back to Iowa the weekend of October 8th and broke the news about the new addition to our family. No, it wasn't a cat this time.

| We brought Ace back to the farm to live with Grandma and Grandpa Currie. We tied a card around his neck that said "Thank you so much for letting me come live on the farm. I got kicked out of my current house to make room for Baby Currie." |

| It was a week away from Grandpa Lageschulte's birthday so I baked a cake that had our due date on it. As you can tell from the cake, I won't be entering any cake decorating contests anytime soon. |

| We broke the news to Grandma and Grandpa Schoenherr with a onesie. K'Lyn and Aaron gave them an Iowa onesie when they were pregnant so I decided to give them an ISU onesie with a note that said, "Now you can have one that wears the right colors." |
I totally knew you were pregnant when we visited in August! Not sure how you waited another couple of weeks to tell me!
ReplyDeleteI still think my idea on how to tell mom was much better than an ISU onesie! Ha! And since you guys have been so nice to NOT buy Addison ISU stuff, we will return the favor and NOT buy Baby Currie Iowa stuff. Why waste our money, right?
