I sat down to write Claire's 2 month post and I realized that I forgot to write Elliott's 29 month post...that seems to be a recurring theme these days. I promise I haven't forgotten about you, Elliott!
Elliott's favorite things continue to be playing with cars/trucks and riding his bike. I absolutely adore some of the conversations we have with him. His paper from school one day said "We love how Elliott's conversations are getting longer and longer." Yup, that's my boy. If he's awake he's talking. One of our favorite games to play in the car is to get him to repeat silly words because some of his annunciations are absolutely hilarious.
Elliott: Mommy, can you roll my window down?
Mom: No, we are going too fast.
Elliott: Oh no, Mommy. Don't go too fast or we will get in an accident.
Elliott: Mommy, my care is broken.
Mom: I know it's broken. Do you know why it's broken?
Elliott: Because I chewed on the wheels.
Mom: Yes. So what does that mean?
Elliott: That means we shouldn't chew on the wheels anymore.
Mom: Look Elliott, those little kids are playing soccer over there.
Elliott: Oh that's cuuuute!
The sun was shining in Elliott's eyes in the car and when it went under a cloud Elliott said, "Look Daddy, the sun is hiding now. Silly sun!"
