Elliott - 34 Months

I hardly recognize Elliott. He's changed so much since Christmas. He looks like he's sprouted 3 inches and lost 3 lbs. I think it's safe to say that he's going to have his mom's stature! We are officially potty trained and Mom and Dad are definitely enjoying having only one child in diapers. I think he is going to be a people-pleaser. He loves to make sure everyone is happy with him. The conversation below is a common occurrence every time we ask him to do something.

Mom - If you aren't in bed by the time I count to 3 we are not reading books tonight. One...
Elliott - (with a sly little grin) two...three
Mom - Ok. No books.
Elliott - Awe. Mommy are you happy with me?
Mom - No, I'm not.
Elliott - (Kicking and screaming) I want you to be happy with me!
Mom - Than do as I say.
Elliott - I want to do what you say.
Mom - Then get in bed.
Elliott - (crawling into bed) Are you happy with me now?

  1. I love looking at your life, as I feel that your life becomes my life in a few short months. We always "mama, you happy?", "daddy, you happy?", or "I happy" all the time too!
