Funny how a weekend of no plans is still a busy weekend with a toddler...
On Saturday we visited the Louisburg Cider Mill for the first time. It was a beautiful fall day and Elliott really enjoyed all the pumpkins. He insisted on carrying his own pumpkin to the car and it dropped and broke so we left with only two pumpkins. We picked up a 3rd at Home Depot on the way home.
On Sunday we raked leaves in the front yard and Elliott was a very good helper. He was actually picking up the leaves one by one and putting them in the bag. I hope we can keep that helping mentality through his teenage years. Once we were done we decided to get the bubble machine out that John and Laura got him for his birthday. He fell in love! Good thing we have a gallon jug of bubbles.
What a great way to end a great weekend!
I love fall, and that pumpkin patch looks great. We hope to make it to one tomorrow.
