Christmas

Christmas 2014

A couple months before Christmas we started explaining to Elliott what Christmas is. After 10 minutes of explaining Santa, elves, reindeer, the North Pole, and of course presents I realized that I hadn't even brought up Jesus. So I started explaining to him who Jesus is and that when we go to church we go to learn more about him and worship him.  I followed it up with “Christmas is when we Celebrate Jesus’ birthday.” His response, “So Jesus is sitting in the sky? Or the tree?” Ok, so he may not quite understand it yet this year…but we tried.

Christmas this year was absolutely wonderful! We spent some amazing time with family and it always reminds me of how truly blessed we are!
